Kennedy Malveaux
Kennedy Malveaux is a very imaginative preteen (tween) who loves to create things. She enjoys painting, drawing, acting, dancing, playing volleyball, and designing jewelry. Recently, she has decided to bring some of her thoughts and ideas to life by writing and illustrating a book about a little girl named Izzie with a vivid imagination, like herself. Kennedy and her younger sister are full of ideas and artsy creations, which are often accompanied by creative messes.
Dr. Janeca Malveaux
Dr. Janeca Malveaux is a practicing clinical pharmacy specialist with a doctorate in pharmacy. She is an educator, a wife, and mother to two talented daughters.During the pandemic, she was amazed by her observations of her daughters creatively finding ways to entertain themselves. A dream inspired her to document her observations. By using her observations, a hint of imagination, and illustrations drawn by her daughter, the book Summer’s Canceled was created.
